When Lifetime launches their fall programming, something will be missing from the lineup -- the drama "Missing."
TV Week says that the network has decided not to renew the series. The drama stars Vivica A. Fox, Mark Consuelos and Caterina Scorsone as an FBI team trying to locate missing victims. Guess all of the "CSI" and "Law and Order" types of shows are over-filling that need already.
"Missing" has aired for three seasons on Lifetime. It's currently absent from Lifetime's schedule. -- Rachel Cericola
It is very upsetting that missing was canceled it was a good show with good people. It will be truley missed.
-- Posted by: kesha young at May 14, 2006 1:13 AMI really enjoyed that show. I will miss it a lot. A group of us would get together to watch it. Fun night for us all.
-- Posted by: Suzy at May 23, 2006 1:50 PMMissing was one show that I looked forward to watching. I was so excited to see what happened to Carlos but I must say that I am now upset. I still have hope to see the show's actors and actresses around. Good luck to you all and Thank You.
-- Posted by: Meaghan at June 8, 2006 1:56 PMI loved missing, division, and strong medicine. They were my favorite shows. It seems like you always cancel the best
-- Posted by: sandra echols at June 10, 2006 4:27 PMI have been searching the website to see when the new season starts - I can't believe they cancelled it!! It is just like what they did with Strong Medicine - both were excellent shows!
-- Posted by: Debbie Bogus at June 12, 2006 1:36 PMUh... is this a joke? I've looked on the website... it isn't there! How could the end the season like that, and not have a new one? This stinks! Bahumbug!
-- Posted by: Meh at June 18, 2006 8:33 PMI AM VERY DISAPPOINTED TO HEAR THAT THE LIFETIME SERIES MISSING HAS BEEN DROPPED FROM THE LINEUP, EVERYTIME LIFETIME GETS A GOOD SHOW THEY CANCEL IT..AND IN THE PROCESS THEY LOSE VIEWERS. MISSING WAS A VERY GOOD SERIES AND HAD A VERY GOOD EXCITING CLIFF HANGER WITH ANTONIO GETTING BLOWN UP IN THE FINAL SHOW...LIFETIME COULD HAVE REALLY HAD A GOOD SEASON WITH THAT..I MISS THE SHOW, AND FEEL THE LIFETIME NETWORK MADE A HUGE MISTAKE CANCELING THE SERIES. TO BE REPLACED BY BORING MOVIES...AND THE SHOW MEDIUM WHAT A STUPID SHOW THAT IS. BORING!!!
-- Posted by: Elizabeth at June 18, 2006 11:17 PMI AGREE WITH EVERYONE ELSE. HOW CAN THE NETWORK CANCEL MISSING AND PUT A SIMILAR SHOW IN ITS PLACE....MEDIUM? WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT? MISSING WAS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS WITH AN OUTSTANDING CAST. WILL WE EVER BE ABLE TO KEEP GOOD SHOWS AROUND? I BEG TO DIFFER. GOOD LUCK TO THE CAST AND THEIR FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
-- Posted by: Sherhonda D Chisholm at June 25, 2006 11:54 PMIt does seem that lifetime drops their shows without cause or warning. It used to be that I couldn't wait for Sunday/Saturday night for the Lifetime lineup. But one by one they got rid of them. I have to say that I won't be watching any other Lifetime series. Don't want to get attached to have it yanked out from under me again!

-- Posted by: Mer at June 28, 2006 2:23 PMI agree with everyone! I am vey disappointed by lifetime, You used to have great shows, but lately nothing.
I just learned of the cancellation of Missing. I am appauled. I've been waiting for the show to be taped on my dvr, I would have saved all the shows had I known you would cancel the awesome show.
Please re-consider, Can't you see it is MISSED.
I just really got into watching missing by the end of december of 2005. I was doing college work every night. I wish I could get a dvd copy of the first season. I miss the whole entire first season. I buy season two of missing. I also wish I could buy season three. Just when I was really getting into watching missing, I heard the show was being cancel. I was mad about the show getting cancel because it was getting really good. I really like missing because I also wanted to be a FBI agent one day in the future. Iam working on my master in criminal justice.
-- Posted by: KC at July 29, 2006 10:32 PMI am truly saddened and devastated by the cancellation of Missing. It was my favorite show, and my mother and I would always anticipate watching it. Such a great show, with an outstanding cast. And I have always loved Vivica A. Fox. Truly a shame! I wish we could maybe petition to get it back on the air. I really miss it!
-- Posted by: Tam at July 31, 2006 12:46 AMI'm disappointed in Lifetime as it is and now I find out about "Missing" isn't coming back. I guess we viewers don't get asked our opinions.
-- Posted by: Eileen at July 31, 2006 7:35 PMI agree with Meh, Elizabeth, and Sherhonda! You can't end a series like that with someone getting blown up! That would have been the perfect season opener for season 4--having the characters' reactions to the accident and seeing whether Antonio survived or not. It also would have opened up a chain of new storylines: if he did die, it would be the perfect time to bring in a guest character from season one--like Sunny! There is so much they could do with it! Please bring it back! We all MISS it SO MUCH!!!! IF LIFETIME CAN'T PICK IT BACK UP, COULD ANOTHER NETWORK AT LEAST PICK IT UP???!!!
-- Posted by: BJ at August 5, 2006 10:32 PMLifetime was foolish to get rid of MISSING the same season as Strong Medicine ended. At leaste the fans of Medicine might of stuck it out to watch only Missing and in the process ended up becoming fans of the new fall lineup. Instead we get snubbed of BOTH our favorites ... and get stuck with this ANGELA'S EYES which is a lame knockoff of Missing in my mind.
-- Posted by: Vicki at August 13, 2006 10:45 AMCan't believe Missing has been cancelled. I have just seen the end of season 3 and was looking to see if when season 4 would air and it has been cancelled. They have just started reairing season 1 again here in the UK but I want season 4 to see if Antonio managed to get out of it alive. Bring back MISSING. PLEASEEEE!!!!
-- Posted by: Yvonne at August 17, 2006 11:22 AMI am so sorry to hear that missing will be missing from the fall line up. This is about the only show on lifetime that I was able to get my husband to watch with me. Now he is saying that we should drop lifetime.
-- Posted by: Cheryl at August 18, 2006 10:27 PMI'm so mad at lifetime for canceling
Missing. I will never watch lifetime again.they canceled the best show, to bring us medium which airs on NBC, and Desperate Houswifes that airs on ABC.
what a bunch of idiots. Missing was an excellent show. I will never watch anything again on lifetime.i hope all these emails our forwarded to lifetime.
Sunday night used to be my favorite line-up with Any Day Now, Strong Medicine, and The Divsion. Then you plucked them from the line-up one at a time. But you gave us 1-800-missing. That held me for three years. Now it's gone and you have nothing to offer in its place and I've become hooked on The 4400. Bad move. I know other channels have Without a Trace and Vanished, but Missing was there first and has a twist the other two don't have. How could you??????
-- Posted by: Carolyn Garner at August 23, 2006 11:55 AMlifetime, you suck!!you can't have a cliffhanger like that and not let the audience have some answers!! It was one of the better shows on t.v. I started watching got my kids to watch with me, had it dvr'd and watched the last episod over and over to see what I thought might happen to Carlos, but we'll never know. I agree with everyone else...if lifetime doesn't want to air it maybe some other network will pick up! Alot of networks have their shows run on 2 sometimes 3 networks...I'd be happy if missing was on 1!
-- Posted by: Janet at August 26, 2006 2:25 AMMy husband and I were looking forward to this season only to find out that it has been canceled. Mature adults have very little to watch on tv and your network provided an excellent viewing selection for mature adults. Shame on you for getting us hooked on good programming only to have it replaced be reruns, same movies w/different names and knock-offs. Bringing back Missing will prove that you actually listen to your loyal viewers. Your recent history suggests that we should not get use to any of your original programming because it won't last long enough to develope a following. Any Day Now, Wild Card, Strong Medicine and now Missing. What's next? Excellent shows bad decision making. You can do better!
-- Posted by: jackie at August 26, 2006 2:57 PMWhat the **** are lifetime thinking. The moment i saw the last episode of season 3 i already on the edge of my seat waiting to see season 4. I feel cheated as i wanted to see what would happen with Nicole, Jess and Pollock. I demand that lifetime hurry up and make season 4. Perhaps Antonio can even be in one of Jess's visions.
P.S i think pollock's great he's so funny.
BRING MISSING BACK! PLEASE?
-- Posted by: Mizzie at September 1, 2006 12:38 PMI cannot believe that lifetime, a network for women, would cancel one of the best shows that feature WOMEN kicking butt every week!! I have been waiting for the season premire to find out what happens to Antonio just to find out that we will never know because it was canceled! I must appologize to all of the fans because this has to be my fault. Whenever I really like a show, it always gets canceled on me!! Never fails! Happens every time. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Lifetime, show your fans that you are listening to us and bring back MISSING. You may think that the CSI's and other crime drama shows are engouh, but MISSING was the only crime drama that really was about women.
Whomever created it (thanks by the way) certainly knew what they weredoing! PLEASW!!! Don't let this show be MISSING for long.
thank you
Shannon
In this day and age networks come and go and if lifetime keeps dropping great shows like MISSING and Strong Medicine then we all know how what network will be MISSING next!
-- Posted by: Alison Hahn at September 11, 2006 3:38 PMIf lifetime keeps dropping good shows how in the world do they expect anybody to take the time to get hooked on any of the new shows-no matter how good they may be-with the possibility of being here one day and gone the next? I must admit that I do think Angela's Eyes has a possiblilty of being a good show but I'm not sure if I want to watch it because of lifetime's cancelation rate. In this day and age networks come and go and if lifetime keeps dropping great shows like MISSING and Strong Medicine then we all know what network will be MISSING next!
-- Posted by: Alison Hahn at September 11, 2006 3:47 PMI agree with everyone, not knowing what happened to Antonio will haunt me!
I so was looking forward to the next season, only to find out that the
show was canceled. I hope Lifetime reconsiders and renews the show. it was Great! So much action. My best to the cast and I hope to see some of them on future shows. Question? Why did they cancel the show?
I agree with everybody else, HOW can Lifetime cancel Missing, it was the best show ever, and shame to Lifetime for leaving everybody with that cliffhanger. PLEASE PLEASE bring back this show it was awesome, if I want to see Medium all I have to do is go to NBC.
-- Posted by: sylvia L. at September 14, 2006 11:08 PMFIRST STRONG MEDICINE IS CANCELLED AND NOW MISSING. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR ORIGINALITY?
-- Posted by: AUDREY SCHWARTZ at September 17, 2006 7:01 PMI am extremely disapointed that another AMAZING show has been canceled from the network.
That was one of the few things my family and I got to watch to spend time together. It was a great show and the actors were just as great. I'm pretty sad about this and it will be missed.
But I have to stick up for MEDIUM because my family and I also LOVE that show.
I dont think it sucks at all. People, if you are going to comment, please be somewhat nice......
I am really disappointed that Lifetime decided not to renew Missing. It was my favorite show and they left us hanging when they blew up Antonio. Lifetime, Listen to your viewers and bring back Missing.
-- Posted by: Nicole at September 18, 2006 12:06 AMI am so disappointed you cancelled
800 Missing, every one on the show
did such a great job. I enjoyed that
show a lot!
I agree with many of the comments I have read. I too also enjoyed MIssing & Strong Medicine. Two greats shows that should not have been cancelled. Maybe they should just cancel the Lifetime channel.
-- Posted by: Donna G at September 19, 2006 1:03 PMI loved missing and strong medicine. They keep some of the dumbest shows on t.v. and really let the good ones go. Most of the reality shows are really boring. I won't be watching much on lifetime since they obviously let these two go.
-- Posted by: louise at September 21, 2006 11:38 AMall I want to know is "WHY" did you cancel Missing. YOu had already canceled two great shows Strong Medicine and Division. These were shows we lived to see. I have searched to see when it is coming back and now you go and not pick it up. I certainly hope another network picks up the pieces you dropped.
-- Posted by: ethel at September 21, 2006 11:45 AMThis is stupuid how can you cancel one of the best shows in the whole world.I love that show. so plese reconsider. Listen to your fans and don't be idots and cancel the show.
breanna
I find this very disappointing, because this is the only 'cop' based show i enjoy.
All we get now is a bunch of repeats on LivingTV...
I hope the producers are proud of themselves.
-- Posted by: Stephanie at September 28, 2006 10:42 AMI must agree with everyone else...Missing; The Division and Strong Medicine were the only truly good shows that Lifetime Network had going for them! I will no longer watch any of the Lifetime Network Channels, as all they are showing are repeats of really dumb shows!
-- Posted by: Kimberley Parker-Polito at October 2, 2006 10:46 PMHave you heard the saying about one snipping off their nose to spite their face? Well here is a perfect example, when you cut off the shows that keep your viewers coming back for more is really a dumb move. lifetime has now become "Once in a Lifetime" for me, I dont need to watch repeats of shows that have been on and did their time. We all look for the new shows that keep us coming back for more. You have lost alot of viewers by losing the shows that kept us coming back for more, and it is not The Nanny, Golden Girls, Will & Grace, Frasier, and then to make things worse repeats of lifetime movies. I have to say goodbye to lifetime for it was "once in a liftime" thing.
-- Posted by: Maryssa at October 3, 2006 3:48 AMwhat is wrong with lifetime these days. Missing was one of my favorite shows and now you took that away. To leave the season finale and not pick it back up for another season is just plain wrong and ignorant to loyal viewers such as myself and others. I never missed an episode and i was really looking forward to another season, especially since you blew antonios car up. It would really be nice to see what happened after that. Get a clue, Lifetime!!!
-- Posted by: paula c at November 2, 2006 10:49 PMReally love the show Missing...I thought maybe it would air after the holidays...so I decided to look to just find out it has been cancelled. I'm very disappointed!!!!!
-- Posted by: Anonymous at January 2, 2007 8:07 PMMissing was a very interesting show it is sad that this show was cancelled. What needs to happen in order for Lifetime network to listen to the viewers?
-- Posted by: Donnesha at January 28, 2007 12:47 AMAll i want to know is, WHAT THE !@*% HAPPENED TO ANTONIO!!!!!! Lifetime freakin sucks!
-- Posted by: Melissa at February 1, 2007 11:23 PMHow cruel to end the show with Antonio being blown up and just cancelling the show. It was a good show and more original with the visions. Also miss strong medicene. We used to be able to count on lifetime but now they are just like every other station.
-- Posted by: Tina at February 11, 2007 11:13 PMHi, i'm just posting this to say that missing was an amazing show. All the caracters were amazing, and Nicole was hilarious! I really wish that it would come back, I really want to know what is going to happen to Antonio and I want to see Jess' visions evolve more, and I really just miss it.
-- Posted by: Kathrine at April 12, 2007 6:20 PMWhen they killed off the one FBI girl Jess was having difficulties with, I knew it was a bad sign. They had some hilarious chemistry. Whenever a show gets popular, it gets cancelled.
-- Posted by: George at June 15, 2007 4:58 AMI AM SOOOOOOOOOOOO SAD THAT MISSING WAS CANCELLED!
-- Posted by: Anonymous at June 27, 2007 10:56 AMI SIMPLY CANNOT BELIEVE THAT THE SHOE 'MISSING' HAS BEEN CANCELLED! iT WAS THE VERY BEST, IN EVERY WAY. tHE CAST WERE AMAZING; i TRULLY LOVE VIVICA FOX, BUT THE WHOLE TEAM WERE FANTASTIC. THE STORY LINES WERE ALWAYS EXCITING BUT NOT OVER-DONE. IT WAS SOPHISTICATED AND ABSOLUTELY CAPTIVATING AS A TV PROGRAMME. WHY ON EARTH WOULD A TV STATION CANCELL A SHOW THAT'S SO SUCCESSFUL; IT MAKES NO SENSE. i LIVE IN THE UK AND i LOVE IT AND MISS IT SO MUCH.
LIKE EVERYONE ELSE, I WISH THE CAST ALL THE VERY BEST AND THANK THEM FOR EVERYTHING THEY'VE DONE IN ENTERTAINING US. I LOOK FORWARD TO WATCHING THEM AGAIN SOON IN OTHER VENTURES.

-- Posted by: AIMEE at October 9, 2007 5:01 PMI simply adore this show Missing on the AXN, the actors and actresses have charisma, and this makes you dream to become a good investigator.
I'd like to see lots and lots of episodes, please.
From Romania with love,

-- Posted by: Cristina at March 26, 2008 10:06 AMI cannot believe Missing is no longer going to air new episodes. I loved that show and now that I have TIVO I was looking forward to seeing all the shows. What were they thinking.
I want to see all the episodes again then. Now that we can't get any new ones. Love, Veronica
Who´s the idiot that took the decision to cancel MISSING and STRONG MEDICINE? They should really be fired, because they have no business in show-business.

Every time I watch season 2 of Missing I am reminded of the diservice Lifetime and Lions Gate Entertainment are doing to us fans. While reairing this awesome show may not be financially worthwhile perhaps seasons one and three can be made available for download and limited dvd burning?
yes missing was my favorite tv show and the they took it off and i have been trying to find the first season of missing and i can't find it anywhere i am very angry cause they took it off and always put something on
