James Van Praagh Signs with CBS

jvp.jpgJames Van Praagh might not be able to see dead people. See, his vision is sort blocked by a giant pile of money. Reuters says that Van Praagh just signed a deal with CBS to develop scripted and reality series, as well as TV movies.

I don't believe in this guy's "powers," but this announcement is even harder to swallow. The good news is that the deal is only for one year, but it does have the option for a second.

In the meantime, Van Praagh will also continue to report for "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider." Next up: interviews with Don Knotts and Grandpa Al Lewis!

Van Praagh currently serves as a co-executive producer on the hit CBS show "Ghost Whisperer," which is inspired by some of his experiences. The show airs every Friday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
