Is "Sons & Daughters" in Danger?

gvigman.jpgI hate to say I told you so, so thankfully the TV Squad is sort of doing it for me. They are reporting that "Sons & Daughters" star Gillian Vigman has signed on to star in CBS' new Tom Cavanagh.

So what does that mean for the ABC sitcom? While nothing has been announced, it doesn't exactly look good. Maybe she is planning on pulling a Patricia Heaton and doing double duty -- but across the dial doesn't usually fly with the network suits.

For now, "Sons & Daughters" airs every Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola

Maybe people just don't like family anymore :(

If Cynthia Watros joined the cast as well, does that possibly mean Gillian is backing-out, perhaps because ABC is going to give "Sons & Daughters" a second chance? That would be REALLY nice.

...Actually, what would be nicer is to have the fantastic Gillian eventually snag an Emmy nomination, preferrably on the show she's already on.

By the way, is it just me or does anyone else see the resemblance of Debra Messing, aka Grace Adler? I almost thought she had leaped-on to a new sitcom already, since "Will & Grace" is saying Sayonara!
