"Gilmore Girls" Lose Creators

gilmore-girls.jpg"Gilmore Girls" fans are not going to be happy. Even though the hit WB show is expected to find a new home on the CW this fall, two people won't be making the move. The Hollywood Reporter says that Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino, who have served as executive producers since the beginning, will not follow the show to the new network.

Apparently, a deal could not be made between the studio and the husband-and-wife team. Even without the duo, the show plans to continue. How it will affect the content, if at all, remains to be seen.

The show moving to the CW isn't a done deal, but being one of the WB's most popular programs seems to be making its move a no-brainer. The Hollywood Reporter also says that stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel are under currently under contract for one more season.

"Gilmore Girls" currently airs every Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on the WB. -- Rachel Cericola
