"Celebrity Cooking Showdown" Gets Cancelled

plabelle-cooking.jpgIn a not-so-surprising move, the Hollywood Reporter says that NBC has already pulled "Celebrity Cooking Showdown" from their primetime lineup.

The competition was scheduled to run for five nights, but apparently after three shows, the audience had their fill. Gee, people didn't want to see Tom Arnold and Cindy Margolis burn themselves on corn fritters? Maybe they should have kept recent tabloid target Naomi Campbell as one of the competitors.

The fourth episode will actually be available on NBC.com if anyone cares. NBC is replacing tonight's episode with repeats of "Will & Grace" and "My Name is Earl." Tomorrow's timeslot will be filled by and episode of "Deal or No Deal." -- Rachel Cericola
