ABC Offers Free TV Online

gdavis.jpgABC wants you to watch their shows so bad, they are giving away programming for free. Obviously, they are already doing that, but TV Week says the network will offer free downloads of previously run favorites online.

Beginning this May, "Desperate Housewives," "Lost," "Commander in Chief" and ""Alias" will be available free for two months on the ABC Web site. And while they have your undivided attention, they are going to throw in a few ads that you can't fast-forward through. Hey -- someone has to pay for those freebies!

Ad-free ABC programming is currently available on iTunes. This offering is an attempt to catch those not-ready-for-primetime viewers. -- Rachel Cericola
