VH1 Picks Up "Love Monkey"

lovemonkey2.jpgDoes VH1 show videos anymore? USA Today says the former music network has picked up the rights to air "Love Monkey." At least it doesn't star Flavor Flav!

The dramedy, which examined the life, love and music of a 30-something, faired pretty well with critics, but was canned after only three episodes.

All eight hourlong episodes will start airing next month. Don't expect any new episodes to air; star Tom Cavanagh has already signed on to star in CBS' new series "My Ex-Life."

"Love Monkey" will start airing on VH1 on April 11. -- Rachel Cericola

I know that Teddy Geiger has gotten a lot of buzz lately. He is 17. Not sure who else...

Ah, that's good to know that he has another series in the works...But it's simultaneously sad, because, well, VH1 would've been the best place to originally air this series and, possibly, make it more successful.

Maybe VH1 will create another series similar to this and make it a companion piece to "So Notorious", which is great but could use a fellow sitcom friend, instead of some lame reality shows.
