"The Simpsons" Plan Live-Action Opening

simpsons-cave.jpgAbout four years ago (maybe longer), I was wondering at what point they would change the intro to "The Simpsons." Sure, they change it every week, but how many ways could they possibly hit that couch? Maybe the writers are pondering the same question. E! Online says that they're turning to the Internet for this week's opening number.

British network Sky One created the opening sequence, which has been running on the Web for a few weeks now.

"The Simpsons" was recently picked up for an additional two seasons. It airs every Sunday at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. -- Rachel Cericola
