The End of "The King of Queens?"

kingqueens.jpgWhen CBS recently announced which shows would be returning this fall, "The King of Queens" was mysteriously absent from the lineup. Could the eighth season be the last for one of CBS' biggest sitcoms?

Monsters and Critics says it's all about money -- big surprise. After eight seasons, actors don't exactly come cheap, especially ones that have done a decent job at the box office. Currently, Kevin James and Leah Remini each make about $500,000 an episode, and they apparently want more.

However, the show isn't as hot as it used to be, and the network is more interested in keeping new hits like "How I Met Your Mother" happy. Not that negotiations are over with the "Queens" cast; they just might not have as much leverage as they thought.

I say give it all to Jerry Stiller; he is the funniest one on the show anyway. Despite the fact that it hasn't shown up on the lineup yet, I am guessing we will see at least one more season of the show.

For now, you can still catch new episodes of "The King of Queens" on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola

UPDATE: The show is definitely coming to an end. Read our follow-up story for more information.

cbs or whatever the NUTS ARE massing things up on t.v. one show yes, dear the sisters get pregant at the same time and king of queens finally have a baby but NO ! you have to take them off and know the t.v. lost me whatever from debra traylor

-- Posted by: debra traylor at April 13, 2006 9:39 PM

Time for this turkey to be taken out of the oven cause it's done. I have no prob with KJ, but Leah has jumped the shark. I mean the premise of the show was chubby guy with a hot wife, not a beached whale, and on top of that she has become so bitchy. Put a fork in her she is done.

-- Posted by: Joey at July 31, 2006 11:48 PM

You want to kill the show "King Of Queens" because they ask for a little more money? That SUCKS!! So you don't think they deserve $500,000.00 an episode? How much money has that show made you? It's sad that you're letting the show go for something as simple as that. They deserve that and much more. I can't believe your letting the show drop over "How I Met Your Mother" THAT show would tank if it not for "King Of Queens". I am just really sad to see the show is not going to be in the fall lineup. I look foward every week to smile at Doug and Carrie's antics. It made me laugh. I will certainly miss that.

-- Posted by: jeff carver at August 2, 2006 12:57 AM

I can not believe the one comedy show I watch faithfully is not on the fall line up because TV executives believe "How I Met Your Mom" is more important. "The King Of Queens" has been the one comedy show that I tape if I work late and that episode is the one I watch before I go to bed. If the TV executives let "The King Of Queens" slip, Mondays on CBS has nothing that interest me.

-- Posted by: preston at September 4, 2006 9:03 AM

put the king of queens back on, i love that show and always record them when i'm out mon. nights.

-- Posted by: tiffany at September 4, 2006 8:06 PM

King of Queens is a t-riffic show. I have seen almost every episode and I will keep watching when it comes back mid-season with new ones. The Monday night lineup on CBS is good as long as it has all of my shows: King of Queens, 2 1/2 Men, and The New Adventures of Old Christine (another great show).

-- Posted by: Erin at September 10, 2006 6:03 PM

I miss the King of Queens. It was one show out of the week that I look forward to watching. I can confidently watch it and know that it will be funny. Every episode. How I met your mother and the Old Christine show is not funny at all to me. Not like king of Queens. I guess I'll be turning over to other stations, CBS. It would be a disservice to your company to not settle with the actors of Queens. It's a great investment move to keep Queens on.. and a crazy move to show How I met your mother and the Christine. The ratings will surely drop, CBS. So settle with the actors about the salary and get on with the show.

Thanks,

Charla

Best Show Ever. Put the king of queens back on or i won't watch cbs again.

-- Posted by: Jay at September 13, 2006 7:39 PM

I would just like to say that I love The King of Queens but I think that it's pretty pathetic that Kevin and Leah want more money. I mean come on, they make half of a million dollars per episode. Exactly how friggin' greedy can a person get? PATHETIC!!!!!

just saw King of Queens added to TBS...starts Friday October 6th at 8 eastern...at least theres one place to watch it if its not back on "The Eye"

-- Posted by: Craig at September 19, 2006 12:56 AM

I can't believe you are going to cancel King of Queens, big deal they want more money so how much does the big executives make at CBS. And all they do is sit on their fat behinds collecting money off of great shows like the KOQ. How I met your mother..STINKS!! I tried to watch it a couple times and it's totally stupid! Never even laughed once! The only show you will have worth watching if you cancel the KOQ is Two and a half men otherwise CBS just has nothing else. You will loose several viewers, how about giving the people what they want?

-- Posted by: Linda Beadles at September 19, 2006 6:05 PM

They can afford Couric but not Kevin James?? Letterman but not Jerry Stiller?
CBS is full of crap!

-- Posted by: Tom at September 20, 2006 9:37 PM

why would they cancel this show? Its been nothing but good to them it certianly hasnt hurt ratings Ill guarantee that.

-- Posted by: Paul at September 22, 2006 4:10 AM

if cbs cancels the king of queens I WILL NEVER WATCH CBS AGIN BECAUSE THE REST OF THE SHOWS ARE JUST GARBAGE EXCEPT FOR 2 AND A HALF MEN THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTENE IS GARBAGE SAME WITH HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER THEY SHOULD CANCEL THOSE TWO SHOWS AND LEAVE THE KING OF QUEENS!

-- Posted by: Anonymous at September 24, 2006 6:31 PM

How about you drop that crappy new show called The Class?!?! I watched the first episode and to be blunt it sucked. You'll bring back the KOQ if your smart.....

-- Posted by: Don B at September 25, 2006 5:39 PM

Is King of Queens cancelled, or what??? If it IS, and it's being replaced by that HORRIBLE show "The Class" - well, I have no idea what the execs of CBS are thinking - at ALL!!
Monday nights used to be the best of the whole week (other than the stupid Christine show - SO not funny..!!), but the other 3 (King of Queens, 2 1/2 Men and How I Met Your Mother) are GREAT - but, I think I will have to boycott CBS if they are def cancelling King of Queens...!!!

-- Posted by: Maura Taylor at September 26, 2006 1:02 AM

I haven't heard one way or another if KOQ is cancelled or not. If you go to the CBS website, they have the show listed in one area but not the primetime show area. When you pull up it does not have anything about when the season would start or not. Why don't they make an announcement or something. Monday night is terrible now, the only one I watch now is 2 1/2 men, the others are pathetic. I used to be happy that it was Monday and 8:00 p.m. Now I have to revert to Wife Swap!! just kidding. Please settle with them and put them back on, not sure what the big deal is, they have done really well over the last 8 years, now you can't afford them? Give me a break, why don't you try to keep the middle aged happy, instead you are trying to reel in the 20 year olds with "The Class" and "How I met your mother". BAD!!!
Long Live KOQ I love Kevin James, he is hysterical.

-- Posted by: Jill Zeigler at September 26, 2006 5:49 PM

I used to love Monday night CBS shows, but don't watch any of them now. Just as I loved Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens is CLEAN comedy, not a who is sleeping with who show.
BRING THEM BACK and give us some good comedy!!

-- Posted by: patricia hall at September 27, 2006 8:48 PM

I just read that The King of Queens will be back in 2007 with 13 episodes and from what I understand those 13 epi's will end the shows run. Personally, I love the show and can't wait until it returns. CBS needs to dump How I Met Your Mother and keep The King!!!!!!!!!

-- Posted by: Jules at September 28, 2006 8:11 AM

please put the KING OF QUEENS back where it belongs. we all know it is the starter for monday night. what are we supposed to start our monday nights with now.

-- Posted by: Charlie at September 29, 2006 2:51 AM

Leah never dropped that baby weight and is now a bitchy fat cow. CBS should kill her off somehow. She can spend more time studying Scientology with her wannabe-an-actor husband. Kevin James is genuinely funny, but not $500k per episode funny. Jerry Stiller is funnier than his over-rated son. I say tell Leah to take a hike & give KJ a take it or leave it offer. The show was really getting stupid in the most recent season, but that has more to do with the writers and less to do with KJ. Hey Kevin - you're not a leading man at the theater. Stay on TV, make your $500k per, and be happy (and fat).

-- Posted by: Anonymous at October 3, 2006 8:04 PM

I didn't start watching The King of Queens until their third season. From that moment on, I became one of their biggest fans. Kevin James and Leah Remini are magic together, and Jerry Stiller makes them zing! Please bring them back for more seasons. I can't see keeping How I Met Your Mother and canceling TKOQ! The best Monday night primetime run would be The King of Queens, followed by Two and a Half Men, followed by The New Adventures of Old Christine (good for you Julia!!), and whatever else you want to put on at 9:30 p.m. Those three are definites. Drop How I Met Your Mother. It's not doing it for me. I own the first five seasons of TKOQ and will continue purchasing them until the end. Hang in there Kevin, Leah, and Jerry!!

-- Posted by: Sherry at October 5, 2006 12:40 AM

I can't believe it - I've been waiting for the new season to begin only to discover today that the show was unceremoniously dropped from the lineup. Argh!! That was the one show that I looked forward to every week - a nice alternative to reality show "intensity". KOQ was a nice break from the day - a show that reflects the relatively non-glamorous side of the everyday Joe - and finding both comfort and humor in it.

CBS - I'm bummed. How I Met Your Mother is OK - at most I'd give it one more season - but please try to find some way to bring back The King of Queens.

-- Posted by: KOQ fan in Seattle at October 6, 2006 9:58 PM

King of Queens was the only show left that I watched on network TV. The rest is garbage garbage garbage and has been for years. Oh well, so much for network TV.

-- Posted by: King Fan at October 7, 2006 7:37 AM

all cbs shows are lame. i think that the king of queens hit a peak during its second season. i think that the show although good should be put to rest.

-- Posted by: Nicolas at October 7, 2006 12:37 PM

I don't really watch too much TV, but in my opinion King of Queens was the best sitcom on Primetime TV. I actually looked forward to this show every week. I am upset that there was no notice, no ending to the show. If there is any way, please bring it back :-)

-- Posted by: Kimberly at October 8, 2006 10:58 AM

LOVE King of Queens. It's definitely the best sitcom that's been on TV in years (besides Everybody Loves Raymond). I can't believe it would be canceled.

-- Posted by: Brian at October 8, 2006 4:52 PM

I used to "race" to get home on Monday nights to not miss The King of Queens. Now, I don't bother with getting home as quickly. I am disappointed with CBS executive staff, apparently they were not watching their own good show. Please reconsider bringing it back. Michele E. St.Paul, MN

-- Posted by: Anonymous at October 10, 2006 12:04 AM

I agree with you on Jerry Stiller. This was a very good show. But like everything else, it has to end. It hasn't been as funny recently and it's probably best to pull the plug. Time to move on...

-- Posted by: Phil at October 12, 2006 2:34 AM

King of Queens is the ONLY good comedy show on TV. Old Christine and How I Met Your Mother are torture. If CBS is banking on them, they're in trouble. And to the male idiots who complained about Leah Remini's weight -- grow up, get a life and move out of your parents' basement.

-- Posted by: Brenda Kay at October 13, 2006 4:34 PM

bring back KOQ. what was cbs thinking. the only good move they made was puting Opie & Anthony back on com. radio. Kevin and Leah get the money, dont make a fool out of me....

-- Posted by: bryan at October 16, 2006 5:51 PM

I hate how i met your mother it is the most confusing and dumb show ever!!! I don't even watch cbs on monday nights now that king of queens is not on at 8:00. You guys screwed up.

-- Posted by: Leah at October 16, 2006 8:49 PM

I've always watched CBS' line up on Mondays because of King of Queens. I love that show! I haven't watched CBS since KOQ's has been off. I'm watching the other networks now. If KOQ's ever does return-then I'll watch. CBS, you lose.

-- Posted by: Terri at October 18, 2006 6:30 PM

There are only 2 comedies on TV worth watching and those were Reno 911 and King of Queens.. Its pitiful that the american public can't watch these anymore..That show The Class is very lame ripoff of Friends which was lame also.

-- Posted by: Finbar at October 20, 2006 9:30 AM

I am about to take cbs to "shutty town," if they don't bring back the KOQ's. Hmm,that really dosen't make sense but I miss hearing shutty!

-- Posted by: wayne at October 23, 2006 11:10 PM

I love, love the King of Queens...why did they take them off on Monday's. I'm always looking through my program guide on Monday's to see if they are coming on and I haven't seen it yet...I've heard that they are suppose to be back on in January. I hope so...otherwise I'll get my fix from watching the re-runs on UPN 9 and TBS. I love Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller, you guys truly, truly rock.

-- Posted by: lakcarson at October 24, 2006 2:16 PM

Pay them their money ... King of Queens is the best comedy on CBS. The execs are STUPID if they think the new comedies can even hold a candle to the longevity and consistency of the KOQ ... after all, it's a show just as proven as Raymond was.

GIVE ME MY KING OF QUEENS BACK!!!
"My eyes are gettin' weary ... my back is gettin' tight ... put my freakin' favorite show back on Monday night!"

-- Posted by: Regina at October 26, 2006 2:01 PM

My husband and I were very disappointed that kings of queens was taken off the air. Great show!!!! after they have been on for years it was not fair that you did not even consider them having a final season... We hope that you reconsider.. how i met your mother is a good show but not nearly as funny as king of queens.

thanks for your time, I will always be a fan..

Im a 24 year old guy who loves football, but i would delay my MNF for KOQ.
KJ is the funniest!!!

-- Posted by: juan at October 28, 2006 8:32 PM

What kind of idiot assholes are running CBS? You put on shows like The Class and cancel King of Queens. It's the best show you have. The only other show that CBS has that is remotely funny is 2 and 1/2 Men and it took them a couple of seasons to get funny. The King of Queens is always funny (even with post-pregnant fat Carrie...who has lost the weight by the way!) so give it another chance and throw out the garbage: The Class, How I Met Your Mother, and Old Christine. Oh, and if they want more money per episode GIVE IT TO THEM...they are just expecting the same pay as other successful tv actors (FRIENDS, SEINFELD, RAYMOND, THE SOPRANOS...) I can't believe you'd pay the cast of The Class a dime and complain about The King of Queens cast demands

-- Posted by: Kristen at October 30, 2006 11:46 PM

REEEEEEEEELAAAAAAAAAAAAAAX EVERYONE!!! KING OF QUEENS WILL RETURN IN JANUARY 2007 FOR A THIRTEEN-EPISODE MID-SEASON ORDER. IT IS GOING TO BE THEIR FINAL SEASON. THEY WOULD HAVE MADE MORE BUT THE DITZY CBS LIKES STUPID SHOWS LIKE HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER BETTER. ANYWAY, WHAT WE NEED TO DO IS BAAN TOGETHER. E-MAIL CBS ON THEIR FEEDBACK SITE WITH CONSTANT LETTERS ORDERING THEM TO BRING BACK KING OF QUEENS AND PAY THEM THEIR RIGHTFUL AMOUNT OF MONEY SO THERE CAN BE MORE THAN THIS LITTLE BIT AMOUNT OF EPISODES FOR THEIR FINAL SEASON. THE NETWORK WANTS TO KEEP A LOT OF THE MONEY THAT THE ACTORS ARE ACTUALLY MAKING FROM ENTERTAINING THE AUDIENCE. THE NETWORK OF CBS THINKS BECAUSE IT"S ON THEIR CHANNEL, THEY CAN KEEP ALL THE MONEY WHEN IT SHOULD BE GOING TO DOUG AND CARRIE FOR BEING HILARIOUS!!! BY THE WAY, WHEN YOU E-MAIL CBS, REQUEST THE EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND CHARACTERS ALL BE ON THE UPCOMING SEASONS!

-- Posted by: Emily at November 3, 2006 1:31 AM

i wish this wasnt the last season for King of Queens... Thats the only sitcom that is worth watching.... CBS is stupid if they make this the final season... Heck with cbs....

I'm queens guy who just moved to FL, if there was one thing that took be back home every Monday was the King of Queens. It is by far the best TV sitcom on for the last 8 years....we need to have it on...PS Leah I have loved you since Saved by the Bell!

CBS put the show back on!!!!

-- Posted by: Junior at November 19, 2006 12:56 PM

Hmm...I will miss Doug and his wonderful company. Besides, he and I will always be the best of friends.

LET'S GO METS!

-- Posted by: Ray Barone at November 22, 2006 10:06 AM

This new lineup sucks! Primetime without The King of Queens is like The Price is Right without Bob Barker...and that's about to become a reality next year...

What the hell was CBS thinking, getting rid of these two icons!? As much as I miss Everybody Loves Raymond, I will miss The King of Queens even more, and I will miss carrying my portable TV to work, just so I could see good old Bob on Price...I don't know what I'll be watching without Doug, Carrie, Arthur or Bob, but it won't be CBS! Oh well...I'll have to buy the show on DVD.

By the way, I can tell you where the real address for CBS is. It's on Shutty Street!

(LOL...just wanted to throw that word in there)

-- Posted by: Jennifer at November 22, 2006 10:15 AM

Will there even be a Price is Right, once Bob Barker is gone? I would love to see Ricki Lake host the show. I enjoyed seeing her on Gameshow Marathon...

-- Posted by: Bill at November 22, 2006 10:18 AM

Yes, and Ricki Lake was also Doug's sister Stephanie on the show. I wish Kevin James, Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller all the best in their post-KOQ lives.

CBS just won't be the same without KOQ or TPIR. Bob Barker is an irreplaceable icon, and after 35 years, he's the best game show host ever! I always thought that Bob would continue to host TPIR until he dies. (After all, Johnny Olson and Rod Roddy announced the show until their deaths, and Rich Fields will stay put, if they bring the show back.)

-- Posted by: Johnny B. at November 22, 2006 10:28 AM

With Leslie Moonves at the helm at CBS it's no wonder everything's going to hell in a hand basket. Look at what the incompetent idiot did by causing the whole fiasco with Howard Stern. Now he's messing with a tried & true formula with shows like KOQ and taking the cheap road in favor of insipid crap like "...Mother" and "...Class". I guess he needs the money to continue paying for plastic surgery for his trophy wife. You suck Leslie!

-- Posted by: Bob A. Booey at November 24, 2006 4:49 PM

What a discrace for CBS, they never even put the show to sleep! Every other sitcom ended with a "Final episode" It would give us closure for the fans that loved the show. I'm still looking for an explination of what happined. Forget entertainment and fun! just make money with calis shows like two and a half men. filled with language and smut...Dug and Cary were funny!! Oh well what do you expect from the money makers now days.

-- Posted by: Bob at November 25, 2006 4:55 PM

I love King of Queens, I can't believe you will not pay Kevin and Leah what they deserve. By the way, Leah has lost all her baby weight, she's a real person, and every woman gains weight when they're pregnant, just not on national television. You go Leah!!! I own the first five seasons of King of Queens on DVD, and I'm going out today to purchase the sixth season. I watch these DVDs every morning when I'm getting ready for work, then I'm in a good mood all day long. I love all the characters on the show. How I met your mother is a stupid show, the other shows on monday night are ok, but King of Queens is the best. Actually since King of Queens hasn't been on all season, I've been watching either Deal or No Deal on NBC or Wife Swap on ABC. Please bring back the King of Queens, it's the best sitcom ever made, plus I like the way Carrie is so mean and bitchy and Doug is an idiot.

-- Posted by: Bonnie at November 26, 2006 12:52 PM

Goodbye to one of the last decent comedies. Hello to this sick world's new sitcoms where someone always has to be gay, someone always has to be a whore, this or that..some kind of expected cliche ...the list of negatives grows longer every season.

Now I'm being forced to watch only dramas like Lost, Prison Break, and Day Break..WHAT'S THAT...NONE OF THOSE ARE CBS??? Hmmm, well, now we know the network that'll be in 3rd place.

-- Posted by: AaronL at November 27, 2006 8:43 PM

Doug-n-Carrie, Doug-n-Carrie, Doug-n-Carrie, Doug-n-Carrie...

CBS. Please stop being petty misers. Pay your talent and bring 'em all back for more than half a season.

Thanks.

Ok..i loooove Kevin James...he is te REAL talent behing King of Queens. I am a religous watcher of this show since day one back in Season 1...and i def. do not wanna see this show off the air..its one of few old school comedies that are still alive. I say pay them what they want..they made king of queens what it is today and cbs couldnt do it without them..one thing they could change is Carrie's character..man she has gotten sooooo bitchy. its actually getting quite annoying.

-- Posted by: Tangy at December 13, 2006 2:48 AM

This is a GREAT show! I have to say i have only been watching it since about 6 months ago. I watch all the re-runs late at night and it has become my favorite show. I even push SEINFELD over to watch King of Queens!!! I was a die-hard fan of Seinfeld, but KOQ is just too funny!

I'm sick of seeing people commenting about Leah and being fat! WTF! Just because she has some baby weight doesnt degrade her character on the show! What the F is wrong with some of you people??
Everyone is so judgemental of people's weight, when they are fat or ugly themselves!

Anyways, executives of all companies dont really care about anything but money these days. It is no suprise that they wont agree to more than $500,000. I think Kevin and Leah are asking for more money because they know/knew that the show would be ending soon. I would have to doubt they will find another show or a movie career to top the success of KOQ.

And I agree totally with someone who said that every show now a day has to have someone gay, or someone that is a whore. These new shows are totally crap! I hate the direction that t.v. shows are going now. It's all about sex and who's screwing who anymore. KOQ didnt need all that and to me, its one of the greatest t.v. shows ever.

I cant stand to watch tv anymore. Commercials and advertisements oversaturate every tv channel. Its all about money and nothing about good quality shows, just sex and commercials.

I will enjoy this last season of KOQ, then i will say F U to t.v. until they bring back quality!

F U cbs

-- Posted by: MG at December 14, 2006 3:45 PM

KOQ is the one show I can count on to make me laugh; make me feel good; and make me want to watch CBS.
Without it, there is a void in my life as far as TV watching goes. The entire cast is magical together. I realized after watching the fantasy episode with KJ & LR as "The Honeymooners", which they NAILED, BTW...they are a modern version of The Honeymooners.
Hilarious; sitcom at it's finest!!!
My other 2 cents are: I am amazed at the double standards that exist, that anyone can be intolerant when the female lead gains weight, but the male lead is accepted fat, because it's "cute".
And, "How I Met Your Mother" is the stupidest, worst excuse of a show ever!!!!!!!

-- Posted by: TS at February 4, 2007 4:32 PM

I have stopped watching CBS altogether. King of Queens was the only reason I watched CBS. For years my husband and I planned our evenings around Monday nights 8 pm. King of Queens is one of the few true American comedies left on television today. There is not one show on tv that compares to King of Queens. If you value your viewers at all, return King of Queens back to where it belongs,on the air!

-- Posted by: Javelin Graham at February 6, 2007 10:55 PM

KOQ is the best show on tv. CBS you owe your viewers more than to pull it from the line-up. You just lost two viewers.

-- Posted by: Joseph Graham at February 6, 2007 11:07 PM

i love the king of queens. it is the funniest shows on tv. doug and carrie have a normal relationship, and nothing is more funny thaan real life. i am disappointed that only 2 new shows have been on and then nothing! i watch the repeats every night and still laugh just as hard as ever, but i would like some new ones. they had no thanksgiving show and no chridtmas show which i enjoy every year. and all the characters are funny in their own way. hopefully you will keep it on.

-- Posted by: diane at February 13, 2007 11:31 PM

Extremely disappointed The King of Queens is cancelled. Why CBS thinks "How I Met Your Mother" and "The Class" will do better in the ratings and actually LAST is beyond me. King Of Queens has a fan base. Keep it and pay the cast what they're asking! CBS is the "old man's network".

How I Met Your Mother is the funniest show I ever watched! You guys are all deluded. "TKoQ", like you fanatics call it, SUCKS BALLS. IT IS THE WORST SHOW IN HISTORY OF TELEVISION, AND IT FKIN DESERVED TO GET CANCELLED. DON'T SAY S**T ABOUT HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER OR THE NEW ADVENTURES OF OLD CHRISTINE. THEY ROCK.

Hey Sam, I got one thing to say to you: SHUTTY! For nine years, The King of Queens gave us a great ride, and even my mother watches it.

As for The Price is Right, Drew Carey will host the show starting October 15. I, for one, will be watching because it will be interesting to see how well Drew handles the pressure of replacing the wily veteran Bob Barker...

THIS SHOW NEEDS TO KEEP ROLLING! IT IS THE FUNNIEST SHOW EVER MADE, KEVIN JAMES AND JERRY STILLER ARE THE BEST TWO ACTORS ESPECIALLY TOGETHER. I BOUGHT ALL 9 SEASONS AND I HAVE WATCHED THEM OVER AND OVER. I WANT TO SEE A 10TH. THEY HAVE 2 KIDS NOW, THE SHOW SHOULD HAVE JUST STARTED NOW. MAKE THIS SHOW KEEP GOING!

This show was stupid like Everbody loves Raymond,Yes Dear and most of the "shit-coms"thatCBS aires now.Kevin Jmaes's character (or lack there of) was a fat dimbwitted moron and every movie he's recived since is a fat dumb moron. The best way to end this piece of crap show would've been for Carrie to divorce his fat jumbo sized ass out of an airplane at 10,000 ft.

TKOQ was awesome. I just noticed (well long time ago) all black show's suck and have never developed to anything worth a jewish penny lost in the desert for 10,000 years.

when is the new season of the king of queens coming???

-- Posted by: melissa at October 20, 2009 7:43 PM

I can't see how KOQ lasted 9 seasons! The show is terrible, the acting is bad, and the story lines, what are they trying to do attract people with a 7 year old mentality! I'M SO GLAD THIS SHOW IS GONE, it should have been cancelled after the first season!

I liked this show. To the haters like Sam, Bob and of course the idiot anonymous go F yourself!! You probably have no sense of humor as it is. Every good thing has to come to an end oh well.

And Dans22 What the hell are you talking about? I guess your trailer white trash shows are better...dumb fuck!

I love this show!!! The King of Queens is one of the few shows I watch and only discovered it a couple years ago. Thank God for reruns. Aside from Seinfeld, Scrubs, Everyone Loves Raymond and The Office there aren't too many quirky comedies that last as long or are as funny.

Hey Bob Chippewa, go fuck yourself. It was a good show and just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to be a prick about it. If it's so bad, why waste your time commenting complaining? Go shit on someone elses parade.
