Tommy Lee Heads Back to TV

If you're a fan of nails on a chalkboard, have I got a show for you. Billboard says that the next installment of "Rock Star" won't be filled by Van Halen, Alice in Chains or Sublime -- it's your old reality TV pal, Tommy Lee.

Lee is part of Supernova, a band he formed with former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted and former Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke. With that lineup, the show should take on more of a "Fear Factor" format. Once the band finds a leader, they plan to record an album and tour in 2007.

Tommy Lee and Dave Navarro on the same TV show? Welcome to the apocalypse.

The second installment of "Rock Star" is scheduled to premiere on CBS sometime this summer. -- Rachel Cericola
