Patricia Heaton: Daytime Diva?

After watching Patricia Heaton's Debra nag Raymond for so many seasons, will people want to see her do the same schtick on daytime TV? People magazine says that Heaton is the next person being wooed for a gab gig.

If all goes well, the Emmy-winning star of "Everybody Loves Raymond" will pick a panel of hosts and launch the show in fall 2007. It's being described as similar to "The View." Isn't one of those annoying enough?

Heaton is also currently working on an untitled sitcom for ABC. Assuming each one makes it to air, the star says she plans on multitasking. -- Rachel Cericola
