MTV & "Rolling Stone" Rock Reality

rollingstone.jpgMTV and "Rolling Stone": The two once stood for something rebellious, something anti-establishment, something rock 'n roll. In a very un-rock-'n-roll move, USA Today says the two are now teaming up for reality TV.

The show invites amateur journalists to compete for a dream job at "Rolling Stone" for a year. Great -- give me my dream job and rip it out of my hands one year later. I guess if you do a good job, maybe they will want to keep you.

Budding journalists will get to interview musicians, actors and politicians all in front of the cameras. Applicants need to send a short video and writing samples no later than April 7.

The untitled series is set to premiere later this year on MTV. -- Rachel Cericola
