John Lithgow Returns to NBC

lithgow.jpgJohn Lithgow is a great actor. A great comedian -- I just don't see it. But someone must have been watching "3rd Rock from the Sun" since it lasted for five years. And now, Reuters is reporting that Lithgow has been tapped to sport his comedic acting chops again for NBC.

"Twenty Good Years" will put Lithgow and another "fifty-something" male in front of the camera, as both try to make the most of the next (and possibly last) 20 years of their lives. I guess it could be funny, in a "Grumpy Old Men" sort of way.

No word on who Lithgow's buddy might be or when the show could hit the air. -- Rachel Cericola

Boy, no kiddin'. I used to get an embarrassed feeling (for myself and the actors) while watching "3rd Rock," which I didn't do often. It would be good to see Lithgow in something like "Raising Cain" again.
