Fox Extends "Prison Break" Sentence
Just like pimpin', busting out of jail ain't easy. It has to take longer than one TV season, right? Fox thinks so too. E! Online is reporting that the network has decided to renew "Prison Break" for at least one more season.
The hit drama's ratings have been very impressive throughout the first season, especially since it hasn't had that "American Idol" cushion. It's also received tons of critical acclaim and press coverage, which doesn't hurt either.
The drama focuses on a wrongly accused inmate (Dominic Purcell) sitting on death row. Rather than watch his brother fry for a crime he didn't commit, his little brother (Wentworth Miller) gets himself sent to prison in an attempt to bust big bro out. Sheesh -- I can't even get my brother to let me hold the remote control.
The second season is rumored to be just like the first, with a cliffhanger expected right before a midseason break.
