Carol Burnett Gets "Desperate"

I guess if I had spent the past few decades tugging on my ear, I'd be ready to get downright evil as well. Hollywood.com says that Carol Burnett will be guest starring on an upcoming episode on "Desperate Housewives." Ready for something funny? Well, that term might be relative.

The 72-year-old performer sees her role as "campy." She will star as Eleanor Mason, Bree Van De Kamp's (Marcia Cross) wicked stepmother. The episode is scheduled to air on April 9.

"Desperate Housewives" airs every Sunday at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
