"Biggest Loser" Couple is Engaged

OK -- this might be something more for Gossip Fodder, but People is reporting that Matt Hoover, last season's "Biggest Loser" is engaged to runner-up Suzy Preston.

The two met during the months of training on the NBC weight-loss reality show. The two have been maintaining their weight -- and a long-distance relationship since the show wrapped in November.

It's actually nice to see reality TV people get together -- and not in a "Bachelor" type of situation. I guess then it wouldn't last then, would it? The two got engaged while guests on the "Today" show, which is a little cheesy, but hey -- the reality TV thing again, I guess.

The couple has lost a combined 252 pounds. I hope they plan to splurge a little on the wedding day. -- Rachel Cericola
