It looks like George Bluth Sr. has flown the coup for good. ComingSoon.net says that Jeffrey Tambor has signed on to star in "Twenty Good Years" on NBC.
Tambor, along with costar John Lithgow, will ponder the last 20 years of their lives, making the most of every minute -- and presumably making it funny.
I guess I need to give up the dream that "Arrested Development" may come back in some form on some network. Too much bad news this week. No word on when "Twenty Good Years" will premiere. -- Rachel Cericola
Jeffrey Tambor AND John Lithgow? I smell a winner!
They're both great and hopefully can take this show off the ground--whatever it's about.
I do hope that Jeffrey's character is the better of the two--he needs an Emmy, damnit! And I fear he may miss-out on a nomination this year with this new committee. (But I still think Jessica Walter has a sweet chance at winning her second, first for "Arrested Development"...she won one back in 1974 for a short-lived crime drama called "Amy Prentiss".)
By the way, Rachel...Whom do you predict will be NOMINATED for Emmys, before the actual noms are announced?
