Looks like Jay Mohr was the first to get voted off the next edition of "Last Comic Standing." TV.com says that the hosting duties have been taken over by Anthony Clark ("Yes, Dear").
The reality-style competition, which searches for the nation's next best comic, previously ran for 2.5 seasons, before it got ripped from NBC's schedule. It wasn't such a bad show. At least it actually provided a few laughs in each episode, which is a lot more than the network can say about "Joey."
Good for Clark, though. Rumor has it that this might be the last season of "Yes, Dear." If not, it's a cushy summer gig.
"Last Comic Standing" is expected to be part of NBC's summer schedule. No word on an exact premiere date, but they are currently touring the country looking for potential contestants. -- Rachel Cericola
