Ving Rhames Takes the "Aquaman" Plunge

Who loves you baby? Apparently the CW, who has signed up former "Kojak" Ving Rhames to star in its new "Aquaman" series.

The new show will swim into the CW once the WB and UPN merge, sometime this fall. Superhero Hype! says that Rhames will star as the webbed one's mentor, McCafferty. Does this mean the end for "Kojak?"

Former Miss Universe and recent "Freddie" guest star Denise Quinones has also been signed to star as a potential love interest.

Rhames can be seen next in the films "Idlewild" and "Mission: Impossible III." -- Rachel Cericola
