Rebecca Romijn has transformed herself pretty well. Not many supermodels go on to have a movie career and then land a starring role on TV. Romijn has popped up on plenty of guest spots, and now MediaWeek says that the WB is ready to premiere her show "Pepper Dennis."
The hour-long show is being billed as a "romantic comedy." For some reason, I thought she was a detective or something. Instead she is a reporter looking to head up the evening news. With a mug like that, how can she lose? The show also stars Brooke Burns ("North Shore"), so I really have to question the "comedy" part of this scenario.
Also I have to wonder what will happen to the show once the WB and UPN merge into the CW. Guess it will depend on the ratings.
"Pepper Dennis" premieres Tuesday, April 4 at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on the WB.If you're looking for Tuesday WB regular, Supernatural, it's moving to Thursdays beginning March 16. They must have a lot of faith to slip it into the 9:00 p.m. timeslot -- that's some killer competition! -- Rachel Cericola
