It appears that some people will do anything to remain in front of the cameras. I mean really, after "The Surreal Life," are snuff films too far behind? Now Zap2it says there is middle ground -- "The Surreal Life Fame Games."
Sort of like a "Battle of the No-Network Stars," many of the former and future Lifers will participate in a series of undoubtedly humiliating contests. The winner will receive a much-needed $100,000.
The press release says the events will "parody the trappings, costs, conceits and drama of being famous." In other words, many of the participants will be trying to recapture some of that old glory. Former Lifers already on board include Ron Jeremy, Jordan Knight, Chyna Doll, Emmanuel Lewis, Vanilla Ice, Brigitte Nielsen and Traci Bingham.
Host and possible house candidate Robin Leach will host. Don't set your TiVo yet; there's no word on when the show might air. -- Rachel Cericola
