"Love Monkey" Gets Spanked

lovemonkey.jpgLooks like CBS isn't going to have "Love Monkey" on its back much longer. E! Online says that the show has been shelved after just three episodes.

I'm slightly sad, even though I never watched the show. I like seeing Tom Cavanagh ("Ed") in another series, and even Jason Priestly to some extent. My problem was: I never knew when it was on!

The show was said to be a cross between "thirtysomething" and "High Fidelity." Guess that only sounded good to about 8.1 million people, which was what the show averaged each week. Since when is that not enough? CBS had ordered eight episodes, which turned out to be five too many.

For now, the show is just on "hiatus," but there's no word on when or if Love Monkey will return. In the meantime, CBS will be plugging this empty hole with yet another edition of "The Amazing Race." -- Rachel Cericola

You know I'm really getting fed up with the element of intellegence. Heres a great show and it gets pulled after 3 episodes. But the stupid shows we just can't get rid of. What's up with this.
I say keep Love Monkey!!!
