CBS is all about the love. They signed Jennifer Love Hewitt to "Ghost Whisperer," just kicked off the new Tom Cavanaugh series "Love Monkey," and now the Hollywood Reporter says they've signed Jane Krakowski to "Sex, Power, Love & Politics."
Details about the show were a little sketchy, but I have to guess that the former "Ally McBeal" star and Tony winner will star as one of the many Capitol Hill staffers that the show centers around. I guess the end of "The West Wing" has left an opening for another network.
Not to sound like a downer, but the title is just bad. When you look at the title, you can't imagine that show lasting too long. It's not a "watercooler" title -- although it certainly has all of the right elements for watercooler talk. Also, it reminds me a little too much of UPN's failed Denise Richards show.
No word on other casting or when the pilot might air. -- Rachel Cericola
