Love him or hate him, you have to hand it to Howard Stern -- the guy really knows how to self-promote. In yet another move to encourage all things Howard, USA Today says the self-proclaimed King of All Media has announced the Howard Stern Film Festival.
Each film should cover something related to Stern's radio show, whether it be a listener's take on staff members' lives or recreating classic bits. Films should be five minutes or less, with the top three airing on Howard's In Demand TV channel. The creators of those selections will also share a $15,000 prize.
The deadline to enter is April 11, with the winners being announced in New York City on April 27. For more information about the festival, go to www.howard.tv. -- Rachel Cericola
