Conan Goes to Finland

conan.jpgIf Conan were king, he might be the king of Finland -- or at least the president. No one would probably even notice, since he looks exactly like the newly elected president Tarja Halonen.

Their likeness has actually been fodder for the late-night host for weeks now. In fact, he has caused quite a stir in Finland -- a good one. Last year, he endorsed Halonen, all while creating tons of hilarious material for his show.

Well, Halonen actually won (no small feat, considering she is their first female president) and USA Today says she has invited O'Brien to the Nordic country for a visit and to accept a Telvis Award for being "the most surprising and entertaining TV personality in Finland."

O'Brien is no stranger to foreign lands, having visited Ireland, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and Australia in the past. "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" airs every weeknight at 12:35 a.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
