CBS to Feature "Creature"

creaturecat.jpgIf you've ever been to London, you'd know that most of their TV shows aren't exactly must-see. Apparently, they are becoming "must-steal." The Hollywood Reporter says that CBS has ordered 13 episodes of "Creature Comforts," an Americanized version of the British stop-motion animated hit.

The network has ordered a total of seven episodes. This is the first time in 13 years that CBS has made such an order. The project is being developed by Aardman Animations, the creative force behind Wallace & Gromit. Their feature film, "Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" was just nominated for an Oscar (and it's my office-pool favorite to win!).

Expect "Creature Comforts" to premiere on CBS as a midseason replacement in the 2006-2007 TV season. -- Rachel Cericola
