Brad Garrett Chooses "Death"

garrett.jpgCBS may not love Robert Barone, but Fox is very keen on the idea of giving former "Everybody Loves Raymond" star Brad Garrett his own show.

Reuters is reporting that the sky-high comedian is working on a deal that would have him star in the Fox comedy "'Til Death." The show focuses on a pair of newlyweds who move in next to a long-married couple. Eddie Kaye Thomas from "American Pie" would play one of the newlyweds.

The pilot was written by the duo that created "The King of Queens." Garrett is currently lined up to star alongside Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore in the romantic comedy "Music and Lyrics By." -- Rachel Cericola
