Andrea Anders Leaves "Joey"

aanders.jpgIt's not surprising that Andrea Anders has moved on from the NBC series, "Joey." Isn't Joey moving on at this point? Even though the "Friends" spin-off hasn't gotten the official axe, the Hollywood Reporter says that the blonde actress has signed on to play opposite Jason Ritter in "The Class."

I am willing to give Anders another chance, but I found her to be incredibly annoying on "Joey." However, I found a lot of the characters to be a bit annoying, so I am assuming that she was just the victim of bad writing.

The CBS comedy follows Ritter as he throws a party for his girlfriend, which somehow spawns a third grade reunion. Anders will play one of the former schoolmates, who was also the high-school sweetheart of another cast member -- Jay Bernthal. Heather Goldenhersh ("Kinsey") will also star.

"Joey" is currently on hiatus. No word when or if the show will ever return to the NBC must-see (or any other) lineup. -- Rachel Cericola
