It looks like NBC wants to create that wacky chemistry that Matthew Perry had with Amanda Peet in "The Whole Nine Yards." "The Whole Ten Yards" -- maybe not so much. ComingSoon.net says that Peet has signed on to costar alongside Perry in "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," the new show that takes a serious peek behind the scenes of a late-night sketch comedy show.
Peet will play Jordan McDeere, the new president of the network. How does she manage to get all of these plum roles? Sorry, I am not a fan. It could be the eyebrows, but I think it might be the acting ability. She is a name though, so adding her to the list with Steven Weber, D.L. Hughley, Evan Handler, Carloss Jacott, Nathan Corddry and Michael Stuhlbarg will surely up viewer's interest.
No word on when the pilot will air. If you are jonesing for more Amanda Peet, you can check her out on the big screen in "Syriana." She will also be starring in the Zach Braff/Jason Bateman comedy "Fast Track" and alongside John Cusack in "The Martian Child." -- Rachel Cericola
