Will Toale is Aquaman

toale.jpgWill Toale will soon be sleeping with the fishes -- and it's a good thing. Comics2Film says that the newcomer has been cast to play the WB's latest superhero.

Toale, a relative newcomer, was recently seen on Broadway in an adaptation of "A Streetcar Named Desire."

It will be interesting to see how the show develops, considering the star lives under the sea and is not a giant yellow pants-wearing sponge. How much crime could be down there anyway? I am more interested to find out how he avoids getting all pruny.

The series, which is the brainchild of the producers of "Smallville," has a greenlight for the pilot. No word on other casting or when the pilot might make it to air. -- Rachel Cericola
