"The West Wing" Gets Cancelled

westwing2.jpgIn a bizarre twist on the show's campaign trail, WSBtv is reporting that NBC is canceling "The West Wing."

The announcement was made today; the show will wrap this May. The current story line had viewers thinking we would soon see a new president take over. Guess not. They didn't seem to care that much anyway since the ratings had been slipping.

NBC says that the decision has nothing to do with the recent death of cast member, John Spencer. It was all about ratings.

The final episode of "The West Wing" will air May 14. . -- Rachel Cericola
