The WB & UPN Become The CW

smallville.jpgIn a move that I did not see coming at all, MSNBC says that both the WB and UPN will cease operations as individual broadcasting units and team up for one semi-superpower.

The new network, the CW, will launch this fall on stations owned by the Tribune Company, who owns part of the WB. The new network will only broadcast 30 hours of programming per week, which has me wondering -- which shows will be spared? Stay tuned. -- Rachel Cericola
