The Summer of Silverman

ssilverman.jpgJesus may be magic, but for Comedy Central, Sarah Silverman is gold. Zap2it says that the "it" comedian has signed up for a summer stint on the cable network.

"The Sarah Silverman Programme" will chronicle Silverman playing Silverman, and her whole day-to-day. Confused? Wait for the music, which is expected be part of every episode.

Silverman seems to know what she is doing, so I'll bite and watch. There's no word on an exact premiere date, but you can currently catch Silverman in the recent DVD release "The Aristocrats" or the upcoming feature film "I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With." -- Rachel Cericola
