Hey Paul Reiser: You have 50 billion dollars from your mega-TV hit "Mad About You," so what are you going to do? Come out of semi-retirement to collect some more coin.
The Hollywood Reporter says that CBS has picked up Reiser's new sitcom, which centers on a young guy who takes over his family's car dealership in Queens, NY.
It doesn't seem like Reiser will be getting any screen time; the rumor is that he is writing and executive producing the untitled project. No word on who will star or when the show might make it to air. -- Rachel Cericola
I am a HUGE Paul Reiser fan. Mad About You was the most underrated, classically fresh sitcom of its time - frankly, Seinfeld had nothing on it. I got married the same time as Paul and Jamie made their debut, and we went through the same stuff at the same time, but they made it bearable because of their humor. I would like to send him a fan e-mail. I have been a fan since "My Two Dads". Paul Reiser is a brilliant writer and producer and a comedic genius. I just hope Mad About You was not his "final frontier", because I'm looking forward to anything Reiser in the future.
