"Lowlife" for Minnie Driver

minnie.jpgMinnie has a major gig lined up. ComingSoon.net says that FX has signed Minnie Driver to play opposite Eddie Izzard in the new series "Lowlife."

Driver and Izzard play a married couple of con artists wandering the country with their three kids and a traveling band of Irish folk.

The actress, best known for her roles in "Circle of Friends," "Good Will Hunting" and the frequent pop-ins on "Will & Grace," plays Dahlia -- a former addict/inmate looking to start a new life in suburbia.

No word on when "Lowlife" will emerge. Production begins this March. -- Rachel Cericola
