BET Big on Lil' Kim

A rap sheet is bigger than a rap hit these days. New York Newsday is reporting that BET announced plans to shoot a new reality show based on the pre-imprisoned life of Lil' Kim.

"Lil' Kim: Countdown to Lockdown" follows the tiny rap star for the two weeks prior to her incarceration. In between her goodbyes, Kim will fit in a few public performances. The rap star, whose real name is Kimberly Jones, is currently serving a 366-day sentence for a perjury conviction.

The series is expected to premiere this year on BET. -- Rachel Cericola
