Vincent Schiavelli Dies

vschiavelli.jpgCNN is reporting that veteran actor Vincent Schiavelli has died at the age of 57.

Schiavelli died Monday at his home in Sicily after a battle with lung cancer. Despite his not-so-traditional Hollywood looks, Schiavelli stars in a ton of movies, including "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Ghost," "Amadeus," and "Fast Times at Ridegmont High," among others.

You may recognize him from the movies, but Schiavelli was also a frequent TV actor, guest starring on shows including "Taxi," "Charlie's Angels," "Moonlighting," "Melrose Place," "The X Files," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Family Guy."

Schiavelli was also an accomplished author, publishing "Many Beautiful Things" in 2002. -- Rachel Cericola
