Tonight: "Arrested Development" & "Kitchen Confidential"

ADgobbanana.jpgPart of me feels like if everyone on the planet watches "Arrested Development" tonight, Fox might change its mind about its impending cancellation. So I don't care if you turn the TV on in your house and go out, but please make some kind of attempt to boost its ratings.

Tonight should be the last installment with Charlize Theron, which is garnering mixed reviews among fans and critics alike. I think the show has definitely been funny this season, but they probably aren't winning over too many new viewers between the bizarre plot line and the timeslot change. I am more curious to see what happens next week, after Theron's five-episode stint is up.

After the show is over, stick around for "Kitchen Confidential." Frankly I can't even remember the last time that this show was on, and its demise seems to be even more definite than "Arrested." But tonight looks like it could be pretty funny, and includes guest star Michael Vartan ("Alias").

And besides: Everyone else has crappy reruns -- now you really have to excuse. "Arrested Development" airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox. "Kitchen Confidential" follows immediately at 8:30 p.m.
