The Batemans Tag Team "Arrested Development"

bateman.jpgIt may not save the show, but it will be interesting to see Justine Bateman guest star on an upcoming episode of "Arrested Development." E! Online is reporting that the former sitcom starlet will join her little brother for one of the (hopefully not) last episodes of the brilliant Fox sitcom.

Despite rumors that might have been flying about a year ago, Justine will not play Jason's love interest, but possibly the family's long-lost sister, Nellie Bluth. Plan on things getting weird -- and witty -- as they usually do.

In more "keeping my hope alive" news, producer Brian Grazer seems to think that "AD" might get picked up by another network. Maybe we are all kidding ourselves, but it seems like all is not lost just yet.

The Batemans clash in the episode titled "Family Ties," airing January 9. For now, "Arrested Development" is still on every Monday night at 8:00 p.m. (EST) on Fox.

Oh great TV God in the Sky .. I beseech you to save this show.

Last episode nearly killed me, especially the ending when GOB declares, "No Michael, it's not my trick ... ... ... it's my ILLUSION!"
