That crazy Dave Chappelle is back -- not the one that took over for South Africa, but the one that delivered classic skits such as "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories" and "I Know Black People."
ABC News says that Comedy Central, who is still clinging to the existing episodes of "Chappelle's Show" by airing them every week, will finally air the unseen episodes, which were to be part of Chappelle's third season. A total of four episodes are set to air.
Apparently, Chappelle himself had never filmed the intros, which had become a staple of his variety show. The network is still trying to figure a way to present the episodes without his participation.
Chappelle had quit shortly after beginning production of the third season, walking away from a mountain of money and leaving disappointed fans everywhere. The abbreviated third season will premiere in the second quarter of 2006. Viewers will get a sneak peek of the "lost" episodes on Sunday, December 11 during Comedy Central's "Last Laugh ‘05" special. -- Rachel Cericola
