Michael Vale Dies

mvale.jpgLooks like it's time to make donuts for the big man. New York Newsday is reporting that Michael Vale, the most famous face of Dunkin' Donuts, has died at the age of 83.

He may not have been an A-lister, but Vale's character, Fred the Baker, declared when it was "Time to make the doughnuts" for 15 years.

Vale died Saturday from complications associated with diabetes. He appeared in over 1,300 TV commercials before he retired in 1997. -- Rachel Cericola
