I am wetting my pants with excitement right now. I can get that way when Zap2it reports something like Jason Bateman guest starring on "Scrubs" this season. See the reason for the excitement?
Bateman seems to be returning the long-overdue favor of "Scrubs" star Zach Braff appearing in season two of "Arrested Development." Between schedules and Bateman's recent polyp surgery, the episode had to be shifted to this season. No doubt it will be worth the wait.
Apparently, Bateman plays a patient who likes to save up his thank yous for a special occasion -- which wouldn't include being treated at a hospital. The dynamic doctor duo of J.D. (Braff) and Turk (Donald Faison) decide to track him down to get what's rightfully there's. Hilarity will, no doubt, ensue. It probably doesn't hurt that ostriches are involved.
No word on when Bateman's episode will air. The fifth season of "Scrubs" begins Tuesday, January 3 on NBC.
