Until I read the TV Squad reporting that Donal Logue would be starring in a new sitcom, I thought "Grounded for Life" was still on the air. It seemed to go on forever, didn't it?
Not that it's a bad thing. I like Logue and his crazy comments on VH-1's "I Love the 80s." I even liked his semi-dramatic turn on "ER." Now it seems like he is moving up a notch, not only getting his own show on ABC, but it's being developed by David Letterman's Worldwide Pants and Disney's Touchstone Television.
Two of the guys behind "Ed" will write the pilot and executive produce with Letterman. Not a bad group to have in your corner. Logue is also producing. The show focuses on a bunch of blue-collar guys that decide to rob a celebrity. The tentative title was "I Want to Rob Jeff Goldblum." Sounds interesting, but maybe they should shoot a bit higher. -- Rachel Cericola
