Most people probably don't realize that "The Apprentice: Martha Stewart" is over. In one of the least exciting live endings in TV history, Zap2it says that Dawna Stone beat out Bethenny Frankel for the title.
The big finale didn't get as much fanfare as most reality finales. It didn't get tons of promos or a two-hour timeslot. Hell -- it didn't even get a special venue. The big decision went down right on Martha's morning show. It's like they might as well have had it in the parking lot.
I blame the catchphrase. With something as lame as "you just don't fit in," the show was obviously boredom bound. Also all of the tension between Martha and the Donald didn't help the ratings -- but it didn't hurt them either. I think a lot of people are just bored with the "Apprentice" formula.
Someone that isn't complaining: Stone, who will work as the development director for Martha latest publication, "Body and Soul," which is based in Boston. She also got a sweet new Buick Lucerne. Frankel got to toast champagne with the rest of the show's cast-off, and eat Dawna's dust as she drove off into the sunset. -- Rachel Cericola.
DID MARTHA STEWART LIE???
Major media tried to push an unrepentent, convicted, lying felon, and it did not work! The question is not wrong to ask, it is the answer that may be troublesome. Major media was so sure they could "spin" Martha/Mdiddy's crimes into "a good thing", that they started signing deals prior to the prisoner's release. What does that mean?
