Another Live "Will & Grace"

will_jack.jpgIt seems like the opportunity for "Will & Grace" to go out with dignity passed sometime after Cher's guest appearance, but before the return of Harry Connick Jr.

After running through a virtual "Love Boat"-sized special-guest-star list, the veteran sitcom went the "look at us perform live" route. It caused a nice surge in the ratings, so hey -- why not go to that well once more? The TV Squad says it's happening, kids, whether you like it or not.

Sorry to sound so bitter. The show really isn't that bad, but how about writing a good script for a change. Even if they've had them in the recent past, they're muddling them up with eye-catching tricks and special effects, such as an endless parade of guest stars and now the live stunts.

I think I just heard the last person clinging to must-see TV turn the channel. In case they decide to get funny again, you can tune into "Will & Grace" every Thursday at 8:30 p.m. (EST) on NBC. -- Rachel Cericola
