If you're still smarting from the rumor that this will be the last season for "Alias," dry those tears. ComingSoon.net says the show may live on -- or at least part of it.
Apparently producers are trying to keep the fanfare alive, possibly with a spin-off. Executive producer Jeff Pinkner and creator J.J. Abrams have kicked around ideas, including a show that revolves around villains Sark (David Anders), Peyton (Amy Acker) and Sloane (Ron Rifkin). There's also rumors of a big-screen version in the works, which could include star Jennifer Garner. Of course, nothing is set in stone and ABC hasn't expressed interest either.
What you can expect is to see "Alias" come back this spring, and they will be parading a lot of familiar faces. Producers would like to see another one: Bradley Cooper. He might be available, considering Fox has permanently closed his "Kitchen Confidential."
For now, the last episode of "Alias" is slated for May 2006. For more "Alias" news, visit TV Fodder's Alias News section. -- Rachel Cericola
