It's bad enough when a series gets cancelled, but a whole network? USA Today says that NBC Universal is shutting down the Trio network -- at least as far as cable TV is concerned.
You probably don't even know if your TV provider carries it. Don't worry; few do. I am sad to see the show "Brilliant, But Cancelled" go though. The show has a great concept, paying homage to short-lived TV shows, such as "Cop Rock" and "Parenthood."
Trio will be signing off for good at the end of the year. Rumor is that its fate was sealed after NBC bought it. Apparently they don't need two Bravos.
The good news is that fans will be able to find the network online as of January 1 at BravoTV.com. Programming has not been determined yet. -- Rachel Cericola
