"Threshold" Gets Cancelled

gugino.jpgInstead of pies this holiday, some people are getting the pink slip. The TV Squad is reporting that "Threshold" has been canned.

The supernatural drama had a lot of big names, including Carla Gugino ("Spy Kids," "Sin City"), Peter Dinklage ("Elf," "The Station Agent") and Charles S. Dutton ("Roc"). They had also recently announced the addition of Catherine Bell, formerly of "Jag." Guess not.

It was also a big deal that they were offering episodes online, in an attempt to gain and keep more viewers. Either it didn't work, or it didn't work fast enough.

No word on if CBS will burn off existing episodes online or on the air. Check the Friday night timeslot at 9:00 p.m. (EST) on CBS. -- Rachel Cericola
