Hopefully this Stork can deliver some love. Reality TV World says that ER doc Travis Stork will be the next victim for ABC's "The Bachelor."
The 33-year-old has been completing his residency at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. This should be a nice addition to his resume. ABC describes him as "Dr. McDreamy." Not sure how he became a McDonaldland character; apparently it's a taken on Patrick Dempsey's "Grey's Anatomy" character. Just reading that gives me a super-sized tummy ache.
The beauty of the show, according to Travis, is that it will give him the chance to step back from his career and job and focus on his personal life, concentrating all his attention and energy on meeting some amazing women. The beauty for me is that I get to see him and load of ladies that want to marry a doctor make complete asses of themselves. Sorry I shouldn't pre-judge, but seven previous seasons have already set the scene for me.
Speaking of which, this season's installment was shot in Paris. Apparently they need to inject that much more romance into the prospective match made in TV heaven.
The eighth installment of "The Bachelor" premieres Monday, January 9 at 10:00 p.m. (EST) on ABC. -- Rachel Cericola
