"Over There" Gets Discharged

overthere.jpgThe fall TV season has another casualty. Zap2it is reporting that FX has pulled the plug on the Iraq-war drama "Over There."

Not every Steven Bochco project can be an "NYPD Blue" -- or even a "Doogie Howser," for that matter. But for a basic cable show pulling in over two million viewers a week, thankfully, it was no "Cop Rock" either.

However, the network wasn't exactly pleased with the show's average ratings, which dropped off 50 percent after its February debut.

This is the second drama FX has dropped from their lineup in the past month; they recently announced that the controversial comedy, "Starved" would not be picked up for a second season. -- Rachel Cericola
